UseYourLocal is a UK service to receive your parcels at your nearest pub. At this time, it’s so complicated to receive your deliveries at your home address, you are out all day. But with Useyourlocal you can select your delivery address at your pub, then you can pick up the package and also drink a beer. It’s a great idea to attract pub customers with new services. The service is free to the customers and the pub landlords must pay a £50 annual subscription to join the Use Your Local network. Also, UseYourLocal includes aditional information and location of the different pubs. An interesting way to promote pubs and add new services.

Venture Slogan: Find out what’s on. Parcel delivery made easy.

UseYourLocal’s own description: “…UseYourLocal Limited was founded in 2008 in conjunction with Scottish & Newcastle UK, the country’s leading brewer…”

“…Our aim is to help consumers get more from their local by: 1. Using the UK’s network of 90,000 pubs and clubs as collection points for parcels sent to people by friends, family, retailers & etailers, 2. Better informing consumers about What’s On and Who’s Who down their favourite locals…”

“…At UseYourLocal we truly believe that local pubs & clubs can be a real force for good in our local villages, towns and cities and hope that this is just the first in a series of great ideas aimed at finding creative solutions to help breathe life back into local communities…”
